Systems Training Center fighter Terrion Ware Fights for RFA Title

Terrion Ware Fights for RFA Championship Belt

Encino, The Valley

Terrion ‘Flash’ Ware takes on Luke Sanders this Friday, May 8th for the RFA 135lb championship belt. With a win this Friday, the Los Angeles native will be one giant leap closer to landing his dream job: a spot on the UFC roster. Terrion looks to follow in the footsteps of his teammate Christos Giagos and become the second fighter out of Systems Training Center to be both an RFA champion and UFC fighter.

Who is the ‘Flash’?

Terrion (13-3) is a professional MMA fighter out of Systems Training Center (STC). He’s one of the most active fighters around with a whopping average of 5.33 fights per year in his short 3 year professional career. This statistic reflects Terrion’s incredible work ethic, something he looks to use against Sanders in the upcoming bout:

“I also bring a different level of athleticism, and some of the guys he’s fought have missed weight and they seem like they are out of shape and they gassed out. That is not going to happen with me. No disrespect to those guys, but I am not those guys. He is going to have to step up to the plate and prove than he can fight that caliber of opponent.” – Terrion Ware, COMBAT PRESS.COM

In an interview with MMAWEEKLY.COM:

“With a win I would have won nine of my last ten fights, I’d be the RFA champion, the BAMMA USA champion, so I don’t see what else I’d have left to prove. I’ll be ready to defend my RFA title against any of the guys the RFA signed, and then hopefully make it to the UFC by the end of the year.” - Terrion Ware

The Underdog Story

Terrion is a true underdog story, always silencing his doubters and critics. This RFA article exemplifies his fighting spirit.  Terrion moved quickly up the ranks in his rise to stardom. After rattling off a 6 fight win streak, Terrion lost to Joe Soto in a fight where ‘Flash’ dominated the stand-up battle but got caught in a third round submission to the grappling expert. (You may remember Soto as the last person to take on current UFC Champion TJ Dillashaw who put on an impressive performance despite the 1-day notice title shot.) He rebounded strongly defending his BAMMA belt then defeating a very tough opponent in Joe Murphy. Follow his career through this infographic:
